Drupal 8 has a wonderful migration system that generally boils migrations into a particular entity type down into a single YAML file. This file specifies the data source, the output entity type, and how to process input fields and where in the entity they get stored.
Hook 42 is expanding our enterprise Drupal services to the public sector. It’s only logical that our next trek is to Drupal GovCon!
We are bringing some of our colorful San Francisco Bay Area love to DC. We will be sharing our knowledge about planning and managing migrations, as well as core site building layout technologies. The most exciting part of the conference will be meeting up with our east coast Drupal community and government friends in person.
The Hook 42 team had a great time at Stanford Drupal Camp this weekend. Kristen and Aimee presented two sessions each and four other members of our team attended, Lindsay, K2 (Kristin), Marc, and Marc's 15 year old son Dean. It was the first Drupal camp experience for the extended team and they enjoyed the great topics, beautiful facilities, and the welcoming community. Many thanks to the Stanford Drupal community for hosting such a great event!
